上世纪八十年代，吉姆·汉森公司以欧洲的民间故事为基础，制作了系列剧《The Storyteller》。当时国内引进了这部剧。我到现在还记得每一集开场时的那句话：“当人们用故事来讲述自己的过去、解释自己的现在、预言自己的未来时，火炉旁最好的位置总是被留给说书人”：
“When people told themselves their past with stories, explained their present with stories, foretold the future with stories, the best place by the fire was kept for the storyteller.”
